Today Atlassian's TEAM26, the biggest conference in the ecosystem, is about to start. You can still join digitally or watch the recordings later. To meet us in person come to TEAM26 Europe this October in Amsterdam! We hope to see many of you personally!

Meetical and Atlassian Ecosystem Updates

Over the last months we relentlessly continued our journey to evolve Meetical into the best meeting intelligence solution for companies based on the Atlassian platform. Why? Because nobody likes dozens of fragmented tools across their organization. And with our new Meeting Bot and AI assistant, we believe we can be the game changer for many companies to move from your AI initiatives from isolated lone-wolf productivity gainers to team-AI workflows!

Atlassian’s 2026 State of Teams report backs this up: 89% of executives say AI increases speed, but only 6% can point to clear, org‑wide ROI, and just 24% focus AI on improving teamwork instead of individual productivity. → At Meetical, we help Atlassian-based teams to shift your organization to AI as a teammate!

Meetical connects and enhances what teams are using every day: calendars, conferencing tools, and your existing knowledge base. And the new semi-supervised AI layer acts like a tireless meeting assistant!

The new Meetical Platform

The Meetical platform consists of three pillars:

  1. Meetical Automation turns calendar events into agendas ready to collaborate before and easy to find after every meeting.
  2. Meetical AI transcribes meetings, populates Confluence pages with high-quality meeting notes and uses native macros such as action items with @assignee, and due dates. It’s the Atlassian-native alternative to generic bots, with Confluence-first storage.
  3. Meetical Task Reports streamlines task management across Jira and Confluence, which is crucial to stay on top of both manually and AI-created tasks!

And with this context here are more news:

Meetical AI

We teamed up with existing customers and continued to develop Meetical AI, the best meeting bot and AI assistant for the Atlassian Platform. Feedback has been astonishing! The bot transcribes and summarizes meetings on a quality level that is beyond what Microsoft Facilitator or Zoom AI can offer. It’s more tailored, and it feels Confluence-native. Even more native than Loom! And unlike Loom, Meetical AI acts more like an AI agent than a repurposed async-video tool.

New features include two different templates: the first is a compact action-oriented meeting notes template the second generates a more detailed chronological summary and a meeting coach section that gives your team feedback on what could have been better and what they should keep doing. All nicely done by using native Confluence macros.

Moreover, users can now easily add the full meeting transcript to post-process it with Rovo and other tools. This is super useful, and I personally used it a lot to craft follow-up emails in no time!

Meetical AI in action - invite the bot and generate notes to save 30' for each meetings instantly!

Another use case for me was using Rovo on transcripts generated by Meetical AI to extract citations from customer calls. This feedback is clearly our...

Feedback of the month

“I now use Meetical for almost all my meetings and generate the pages directly from my calendar. It has become the default way for me to run meetings. And with Meetical AI we save probably about 30 minutes per meeting and get the notes almost instantly.” M.K., Senior PM (private beta feedback).

This is the value proposition we want to be able to offer! And over the next months we’re going to work on delivering more templates and even custom templates for you! With intelligent promptlets, you can guide the AI to deliver a perfect mix between predictable results and deterministic action item assignment with flexibility and creativity, likewise. And of course, Meetical AI will be integrated into Meetical Automations so the bot can join automatically in recurring meetings.

Is Data Center Dead?

While AI is eating software, some organizations continue to run on Data Center. Unfortunately customers now have three years left to plan their migration, and no new licenses can be sold anymore. We continue to support our existing customers on Data Center, even if nobody can sell any new licenses for apps over the marketplace anymore. We just updated our DC app to be compatible with Confluence 10.2.7+ and lots of library updates make the app future-proof for the next years. The app is also compatible with the new Exchange Server SE. Reach out if you're interested to learn more.

Meetical and its way towards Runs on Atlassian and SOC 2

A huge update for our Task Reports app was also delivered in February already. We were featured on an Atlassian blog as one of the first app vendors to create a cross-context app on the Marketplace! These apps allow you to create a single app that contains modules for Jira, Confluence, Compass, and more Atlassian products in the future. Besides the cross-context feature and a 10x performance improvement thanks to this new architecture, the app is also built on the most secure and most compliant Atlassian trust symbol: Runs on Atlassian.

Atlassian Forge Update

Meetical Calendar and Meetical AI continue to evolve, and we’ve just migrated all customers to Atlassian Forge, the state-of-the-art framework by Atlassian. This update was huge, significant and improves security and future-readiness of the Meetical Platform. Macros now see a up to 5x faster loading speed and more native overall product experience.

Last but not least, we’ve started our SOC 2 and ISO security certifications and strive to finish them over the next six months. This trajectory also includes data residency, which will open our platform to even more customers running on Atlassian tools. Check our security roadmap for more info.

Atlassian TEAM 26 in Anaheim

Now to some sad news. This year we’ll not attend TEAM 26 in person. We really wanted to focus on building and establishing the new Meetical platform with our existing customers. The Forge update kept us truly busy like a newborn including nightly hotfixes. And we got so much feedback already for Meetical AI that we decided that TEAM Europe will be our show! (rumors say it will be October ‘26 in Amsterdam!) – So stay tuned, we’re planning big things for that one and will for sure attend Team 26 virtually.

Bundled offer for Existing Customers

As mentioned, we’ve relaunched Task Reports as our third pillar for the Meetical Platform. It currently ships as a separate app, but for existing Meetical customers with a Standard subscription, you’ll get a 100% discount code for the first year. And many features of the app will be directly integrated into Meetical over the next months. Reach out to Michael for a discount code!

Documentation updates

We always got good feedback on our documentation and the tutorial videos we created. But as content grows, we’ve outlived the docs section of our website. That’s why we're working on shipping a fully updated and well-structured docs update soon, powered by Scroll Sites (Thanks k15t for the partner license!). Stay tuned to see it go live in the mid-to-end of May.

The most important update on the docs to share today is for sure the Meetical AI early-access tutorial.

Meetical AI now in public beta!

We’ve just enabled Meetical AI for everyone on the STANDARD edition too! You’ve got enough hours to test drive it and use it in the wild as part of our public beta!

Just navigate to the Meetical Calendar, accept the beta terms, and start turning your meetings into actionable Confluence pages in seconds (30 minutes saved per meeting!). And if you need more hours or want more detailed information, schedule a call with me.

Huge thanks to all our private Beta customers for their time and for their early trust! If you want a controlled rollout, please reach out to support, and we'll enable manual rollout for you.

The Atlassian ecosystem’s AI future

If there’s one clear signal from Atlassian’s Team ’26 program and the new State of Teams report, it’s this: the future of the ecosystem is AI‑native teamwork inside a connected system of work, not isolated AI tools. Atlassian is doubling down on agents, Collections (Strategy, Teamwork, Service), and the Teamwork Graph as the backbone where humans and AI co‑own work, decisions, and context.

Atlassians Focus on AI

In that world, meetings are either a black hole – or a structured data source for your system of work. Meetical is my bet on the second option. We connect your calendar (Google Calendar and Microsoft 365/Outlook) directly to Confluence so every important meeting automatically gets a structured page with participants, an agenda, and metadata instead of ad hoc notes in random tools.

With our new AI Meeting Notes and meeting bot, we go further: the bot can join Zoom, Teams, Meet and Webex; transcribe the conversation; and turn it into summaries, decisions, and action items stored as structured Confluence content – including tasks that can be tracked with standard Jira/Confluence reports. Our design goal is explicit: no meeting data should live outside Confluence, backed by data centers in multiple US regions, Europe, and Japan for residency‑sensitive customers.

So when you evaluate AI meeting tools in this new agentic Atlassian world, my bias is clear: choose solutions that feed and strengthen your Atlassian system of work. Meetical exists to turn every important conversation into Confluence and Jira artifacts your agents, your leaders, and your teams can actually use – instead of yet another disconnected AI transcript living somewhere else.

With that said, greetings from Zurich while hopefully many of you travel to Anaheim to experience the latest news from the ecosystem or join the keynote digitally!

Thank you for reading, and thank you for being part of Meetical!
