Dear customers, friends and followers,

I hope you arrived well into 2026 and started with great momentum!

This year has started incredibly well for us at Meetical—and very busy—after a well-deserved break in beautiful Oaxaca, Mexico. I love traveling, especially at the start of a new chapter. And 2026 will definitely be one.

“If you want to go fast, go alone,” but “if you want to go far, go with a team.” Or, as Atlassian states it: “Impossible Alone. Possible Together.” Some of you may have already heard the news on LinkedIn—we added two new core team members to make you more successful and to transition our Meeting Management App into a fully fledged Meeting Intelligence Platform! Welcome Michael and Frank to the Meetical team! (More details on them later.)

Welcome to the Meetical Team!

Over the coming months, we’ll consolidate all our apps, double down on our successful AI Meeting Assistant, and move from Meeting Management to Meeting Intelligence!

That’s a bold goal. I personally haven’t felt as motivated to ship this product evolution since 2020, when we won the biggest Codegeist hackathon prize ever awarded to any team in the Atlassian ecosystem.

If you look at this live demo from Michael, our new Head of Customer Success, I’m confident we could easily win that hackathon again! Bear in mind the video and feature is in beta—it’s uncut and a work in progress—but Meetical AI is already delivering exceptional quality. One of our beta customers stated:

“This [Meetical AI Bot] saves me so much time, and the quality is unlike anything I’ve seen before. No more AI slop from MS Facilitator that needs heavy post-processing. But the best part is that the AI Bot is Confluence-native, uses macros, and even assigns Confluence tasks to the right people with the correct due dates. We’re impressed.”

That’s the feedback you want to hear as a product team! Do you want to experience Meetical AI yourself?

  • Existing customers can simply book a quick onboarding call with Michael and you’re ready to go!
  • New customers can reach out to me or to Frank, our new CCO. It’s important to us that both new and existing customers understand the incredible value that Atlassian-committed companies and teams get from Meetical.

This year, our mission is to upgrade all of you to the new Meetical experience.

From Meeting Notes to Organizational Knowledge

Currently, Meetical automates meeting page creation and context‑rich notes within Confluence. Adding ingestion via Bot and from external recordings enables a unified meeting intelligence pipeline:

  1. Capture — Live bot joins OR recording/transcript ingest from Teams/Zoom etc.
  2. Process — Transcription, summarization, decision & action extraction
  3. Publish — Structured Confluence pages with summaries, macros, and task assignments
  4. Surface – Consolidated tasks, reports and analytics in dashboards

This pipeline transforms meetings from ephemeral discussion into persistent, searchable, actionable organizational memory — a natural evolution of Meetical’s mission to turn meetings into momentum and alignment.

Ok now how does that look in detail?

1) Seamless meeting page creation and workflow automation

Meetical connects your calendar (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook/M365) to Confluence so that meeting pages are created and linked automatically, with up‑to‑date event details such as participants and agenda information. It eliminates manual page creation and keeps meeting documentation consistent and searchable in Confluence.

2) “Meetical Intelligence” → AI‑assisted summaries, action items, and structured notes

The solution includes an AI assistant (bot) that can join meetings as a participant to generate transcripts, summaries, decisions, and action items — turning spoken discussion into structured Confluence content without manual note‑taking.

This innovation moves Meetical beyond simple meeting page creation toward meeting intelligence, in that it begins to interpret and distill conversational content into structured organizational knowledge.

3) Integrated task reporting and visibility

By integrating the Task Reports for Jira & Confluence Gadgets functionality into the same solution, users can track and visualize tasks and action items across Confluence and Jira dashboards. This includes:

  • Interactive Confluence task reports that show open and completed tasks with grouping by meeting/page or assignee
  • Calendar views and synchronization for task reminders, including ics/iCal feed support
  • Jira dashboard gadgets that embed Confluence pages and task summaries for unified visibility across systems
Task Reports to help teams stay on top of all recorded action items

This integration bridges the gap between meeting documentation and actionable work, ensuring tasks mentioned during meetings are surfaced and tracked seamlessly in project dashboards.

What you’ll see next:

As a first step, we’re going to consolidate Meetical for Jira and Meetical for Confluence into one single app, “Meetical for Jira/Confluence.” We’ll also migrate the app to the Forge Framework as a future-proof, security-hardened solution with native data residency options.

At the same time, we’ll add long-awaited essential features to Task Reports so they work with restricted pages and deliver drastically improved performance (finally possible thanks to the hard work of the Atlassian Forge team!). It will be available as a single paid app as a seamless addition to Meetical for Jira/Confluence.

We’ll also add those great task management features and dashboards directly to the Meetical experience, for example inside the Task Reports view “Open Tasks in this Meeting Series.”

What does that mean? A ton of work. But a ton of awesome and fun work. We’re looking forward to it, and we’re proud to have you with us on this journey.

So stay tuned for more updates, reach out to us for any questions or feedback, and keep driving momentum in 2026.

Thank you and have a productive quarter!
