Our documentation has a new home: docs.meetical.io.

This was more than a visual refresh. We rebuilt the structure, rewrote the content, and sharpened every page so you can onboard faster, find answers instantly with AI search, and get a clearer picture of everything Meetical can do.

Introduction to Meetical in new docs.

Why we rebuilt our documentation

A lot has happened in the past months. Meetical’s feature development accelerated to a point where our documentation simply could not keep up.

Part of the challenge was technical: the old docs lived on a basic web builder that made updates painful. But the bigger challenge was content-related: many pages were outdated, inconsistent, and not built with long-term maintainability in mind.

Most importantly, we rebuilt the documentation for our customers. The clearer structure and improved searchability help users find answers faster, understand workflows more easily, and get more value from Meetical.

That is why we decided to rethink the documentation from the ground up.

Written in Confluence, published with Scroll Sites

We made a simple decision: write the documentation where we already work — in Confluence. For us, editing and updating in Confluence is as easy as putting on socks in the morning. That alone is a huge improvement over our old web-builder setup.

But if you visit docs.meetical.io, you'll probably think, "This looks nothing like Confluence." And you'd be right — because it isn't. We write in Confluence and publish with Scroll Sites, a Confluence app by k15t. It takes our Confluence pages and publishes them to our custom domain with our branding and design, adds a table of contents to every page, and lets you flip through pages with previous/next buttons. A big thank-you to Michaela from k15t for supporting us along the way.

Find answers instantly with AI search

The feature you'll probably use most: AI search across the entire documentation. Instead of browsing through pages, you ask a question — "How do I create pages for recurring meetings?" — and get a direct answer, with links to the right pages. Confluence pages are great for writing — think Google Docs or Notion — but they were never built for browsing and searching a documentation site. AI search closes that gap.

Ask our docs specific questions with AI.

A structure you can read like a book

We wanted the documentation to follow one consistent line of thought from start to finish: new users begin at the very beginning, and the deeper they get into Meetical, the deeper they go into the docs. Our goal was that you could read it like a book, cover to cover.

It starts with the Introduction, which explains everything Meetical does in simple terms.

Then we get straight into action with the brand new Quickstart pages. After the first-time setup, you can create your first meeting page in minutes — proof of how quickly the average Confluence user can benefit from Meetical.

From there, you can jump right into our newest feature and generate your first meeting notes with Meetical AI — just as easy to use and a natural fit in the streamlined way Meetical handles your meeting notes in Confluence.

Also, new guides for our Advanced Task Report feature explain how to create seamlessly integrated Task Reports on any Confluence page or Jira dashboard to stay up-to-date for all of your Confluence tasks in one place.

More detail, clearer language

As we rewrote everything, we asked ourselves one question per sentence: how do we say this with fewer words and more information?

We wanted every page to show the practical steps and explain what's happening and why. You might think AI makes this easy. It doesn't. AI tends to overcomplicate sentences and reach for AI jargon – "delve into" instead of "let's look at" and "elevate" instead of "improve". So we deliberately stuck to simple words and simple sentences, so you always know what to do and why.

Funny note: since ChatGPT launched, the word "delve" appears 16x as often in scientific papers. "Intricate" is up 55x, "meticulous" 29x. We took that as a warning.

What comes next

This update also reflects where Meetical is heading. Meetical is no longer just about creating meeting notes faster — it's about removing every bottleneck and manual process around your meetings. The next big steps are already in motion: the new Forge-powered Meetical platform and Meetical AI, our meeting notetaker and AI assistant for Confluence.

As Meetical evolves faster than ever, the new docs are built to evolve with it.

If you read the documentation and something is unclear, missing, or outdated, please tell us. Your feedback improves both the product and the docs.

The new Meetical documentation is live now at docs.meetical.io.

Have a great day,

Michael
